Julie Celmo

Julie graduated from St. Norbert College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in mathematics. She taught for over 20 years in various middle school settings, both public and private. During her teaching years she often volunteered to be the main support teacher for students with various behavioral and learning needs.

Julie has also tutored students and coached sports throughout the course of her career. She has maintained contact with many of her former students as they have moved into higher education and/or the job force as a reference and support to them.

As a mother of two middle schoolers, Julie recently decided to work part-time to help her aging parents. As a senior mentor she excitedly continues to share her passion for working with children of varying needs.
