Senior Mentor
Job Title: Senior Mentor - Second Shift
FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Hours Per Week: part-time or full-time if desired; availability between 2:00pm - 8:00pm. Preferred consideration for weekend availability as well.
Starting Salary: $42,120 - $60,320 – Monthly health insurance stipend once full-time
Anticipated Start Date: March/April 2024
Reports to: Director of Supportive Services
Primary Function: Work 1-on-1 in-home, in the community, and in-school with at-risk children and adults, as well as individuals with disabilities and exceptionalities.

● You have a genuine passion for helping children and adolescents navigate challenges related to ADD/ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, trauma, and attachment disorders.
● You have prior experience working with individuals within the 8-18 age group, and you understand the unique needs and nuances associated with each condition.
● Your communication/interpersonal skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively interact with children and teens, as well as their parents or guardians, in a supportive and nonjudgmental manner.
● You have excellent time management skills and can manage a professional caseload, as well as create and maintain a weekly schedule to meet with each client.
● You exhibit patience, empathy, and compassion, recognizing that each child is unique and may require personalized support and encouragement.
● You are adaptable and flexible, able to tailor your approach to meet the evolving needs of each client.
● You are a strong advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization, and you are dedicated to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all clients under your guidance.
● You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals, such as therapists, educators, and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic support for your clients.
● You are reliable, responsible, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries while building trusting relationships with the individuals and families you serve.
● You are committed to ongoing self-reflection and professional development, seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in order to provide the highest quality mentorship and support.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
● Work with clients to create an individual support plan with goals related, but not limited to, the following areas: increasing social outlets, improving social skills, establishing routines, improving behaviors, improving emotional regulation and coping skills, exploring community resources, improving resiliency, and learning essential independent living skills
● Work with clients to navigate tough situations and life experiences
● Take a collaborative approach via outings to better reinforce social skills and provide more opportunities for social and community engagement
● Manage a caseload and strive to maintain target billable hours
● Other duties as assigned
Experience/Educational Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or Human Services.
● Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
● Excellent interpersonal skills
● Strong desire to learn
● Excellent attention to detail
● Basic computer skills
● Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace
● Must be able and willing to transport clients within and throughout Ozaukee County

Working conditions and Physical Efforts:
● Work is normally performed through a combination of remote work, on-site with clients, and in-office work

Job Coach
Job Title: Job Coach
Hours Per Week: Part-time. 5-20 hours
Day and Evening Shifts
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Reports to: Director of Vocational Services
Responsibilities:
● Provide coaching and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other needs
● Develop and implement individualized plans to assist clients in achieving their goals
● Conduct assessments to identify strengths, needs, and barriers to employment
● Provide ongoing mentoring and support to clients in the workplace
● Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress and address any challenges
Requirements:
● Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
● Experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training development is a plus
