Erin Doughman
Erin is an intern at HDS, gaining credit for her master’s program from May 2024-May 2025. Erin is a graduate student at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, obtaining a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. She is also working towards getting her certification in trauma-informed counseling at Mount Mary. Erin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Social Justice. Erin applies a humanistic/person-centered approach to her work, where she focuses on a client's strengths to foster confidence and independence to help them meet their goals.
Erin is excited to be interning at HDS; she will be working in both the vocational and supportive services. She is mainly excited to gain many new experiences and perspectives with all that HDS has to offer. Erin loves to take advantage of exploring new opportunities as a way of gaining knowledge and isn’t afraid of a challenge.
