COMPASS Peer Group Summer Orientation Event

Date/time: Saturday, May 3rd  | 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Location: Mequon Nature Preserve, 8200 W County Line Rd., Mequon, WI (see map below)

Our purpose:
To celebrate the accomplishments of our previous peer groups and introduce our plans and dates for our summer group. We also hope to provide young adults ages 18-30 with developmental disabilities the opportunity to meet peers, engage socially with others in the community, and talk to facilitators about what they hope to gain from the group.

Who should attend?
This event and our Individual Support Services Program was created to serve high-functioning adults with developmental disabilities between the ages of 18-30 who are in need of positive peer interaction and support with the difficult transition to adulthood. It is also for the families and caregivers looking to meet others, share experiences and have the opportunity to meet the group facilitators.

When will the peer group start?
The summer session will begin on Wednesday, May 7th from 2:30pm-4:00pm. Locations are being finalized and will be announced at the orientation event.

Event Cost:
Free! Snacks and Beverages will also be provided

Peer Group Cost:
$350 for 10-week session
(No cost if you are currently a client of our Individual Supportive Service Program)
